About Stirling Kitchens

Over 20 years of custom kitchen manufacturing from our workshop.

Built from the workshop up

Stirling Kitchens has been designing and manufacturing custom kitchens for Auckland homes for over 20 years. The business is built around a simple idea: if you design something properly, manufacture it in-house, and install it with care, you don't need to oversell it. The work speaks for itself.

Everything we make comes out of our workshop in Auckland. That means we control the quality at every stage — there's no component sourced from a supplier we've never met, and no handoff to a contractor we can't vouch for. The team that designs your kitchen is the same team that builds it and installs it.

We work with homeowners renovating or building, and with builders and developers who need a manufacturer they can rely on to deliver on time and to spec. Either way, the process starts the same way: a conversation with our team about what you're trying to achieve.

The people behind the work

A small team with a lot of experience between them. Everyone knows what they're doing and why it matters.

Craig, Residential & Commercial Projects Manager at Stirling Kitchens

Craig

Residential & Commercial Projects Manager

Forty years in the industry has given Craig an eye for kitchen design that can't be taught in a classroom. He's sat across the table from hundreds of families over the decades, listening to how they actually live — where the school bags land, who does the cooking, what drives everyone mad about their old layout — and turned it into a design that works from the very first morning. That depth of knowledge means Craig isn't just drawing a pretty kitchen; he's solving the practical problems most people don't think to ask about until it's too late to fix them.

Stacy, Lead Cabinet Maker & Installer at Stirling Kitchens

Stacy

Lead Cabinet Maker & Installer

With 18 years spent fitting kitchens into real homes — not showrooms — Stacy has the patience and precision that only comes from doing the job properly, thousands of times over. Every cut, every fixing, every levelled cabinet is done the way he'd want it done in his own home. Customers notice it in the small things: the drawers that glide shut without a nudge, the join lines you have to look hard to find.

Phil, Cabinet Maker & Installer at Stirling Kitchens

Phil

Cabinet Maker & Installer

Phil has recently completed his apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience both in the workshop and on-site. Working alongside a team with a lifetime of combined knowledge, he has developed a strong foundation in the trade through hard work, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Now a qualified tradesman, Phil continues to build his expertise while supporting the team and helping carry the craft forward.

Wayne, Cabinet Maker & Machine Operator at Stirling Kitchens

Wayne

Cabinet Maker & Machine Operator

Thirty years in the trade means Wayne has quite literally grown up with this industry, watching it change from hand tools to precision machinery — and mastering every bit of it along the way. He's the one turning the design on paper into components that fit perfectly, first time. It's exacting, unglamorous work, and it's exactly why Stirling Kitchens can promise a finish that holds up.

Brodie, Administrator at Stirling Kitchens

Brodie

Administrator

Brodie is the one holding it all together behind the scenes. From the first enquiry to the final invoice, she keeps every job organised, every order on schedule, and every question answered — usually before anyone's had to ask twice. She's often the first friendly voice a customer hears and the calm, switched-on presence that makes sure nothing slips through the cracks. The whole team relies on her, and it shows: the office runs properly because Brodie makes sure it does.

What we think matters

Start with listening

A good kitchen design comes from understanding how people actually use the space — not from showing clients a catalogue and asking them to pick. The consultation is where the real work starts.

Made in-house

We don't source cabinets from an overseas supplier and clip them together. Every component is manufactured by Wayne in our workshop — which means we control the quality and can accommodate what standard products can't.

Same team, start to finish

The person who designs your kitchen is involved in the project through to installation. There's no handoff to a subcontractor who doesn't know the brief.

Honest about what's involved

We'll tell you upfront what a project will take, what it will cost, and what's realistic for your timeline. No surprises partway through.

Manufactured from our workshop

Every kitchen we build comes out of our own workshop. No outsourced components, no subcontractors — just our team, our machines, and our standards.
